It’s so hard to trust people these days.
I was speaking to a popular girl today.
And do you know what we spoke about?
She told me how a couple of years ago, she used to pull out her eyebrows and eyelashes, she’d drink everyday so she wouldn’t remember anything, and also…. that she used to cut herself, and she showed me the scars.
Just because people are popular, doesn’t mean they don’t have problems.
Eventually..
- The fast text message responses will become slow replies.
- The long phone conversations will be cut short.
- The attention they give you will become neglect.
- The comfort they give you will become something awkward.
- The time they have for you will become them being too busy.
- Feeling close will become feeling distant.
